C Lazy U Ranch

C Lazy U is a premier dude ranch nestled in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Established in 1919, the ranch's trail network developed organically over time, with many trails formed out of necessity. As the ranch grew, managing this evolving network became increasingly challenging due to high-maintenance areas, connectivity gaps, and trails that no longer suited the user experience for guests. Additionally, with a mix of private land and BLM leases, the ranch needed to plan carefully around the various spaces available for trail development and connections.

Pointe Strategies partnered with C Lazy U to evaluate and revamp their trail system. Leveraging local knowledge and on-the-ground experience, Pointe Strategies worked with the ranch to create a holistic, integrated plan. This included adopting or modifying existing trails, developing new trails to fill gaps in both location and user experience, and ensuring the trail system catered to users of all abilities. The result was a thoughtfully designed trail network that allows guests to fully explore and enjoy the stunning Rocky Mountain terrain.
