C Lazy U Ranch

C Lazy U is a premier dude ranch nestled in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. First opened in 1919, as the ranch grew, many trails formed out of necessity. As this network of trails evolved, their management became challenging due to high maintenance areas, connectivity gaps, and trails that were ill suited for the user experience of the guests. Additionally with a patchwork of private land and BLM leases the ranch needed to plan around the variety of spaces that they could use to develop and connect these trails. Pointe Strategies worked with C Lazy U in order to evaluate and overhaul their trail system.

With the local knowledge and day to day experience onsite, Pointe Strategies worked with the goal of creating a holistic integrated plan to adopt or modify existing trails, create new trails to fill in gaps both location-wise and user-experience wise, and ultimately create trails for all users of all abilities to explore the magnificent Rocky Mountain terrain.
